August at Latrobe Speedway Sees Big Paydays for Drivers

LATROBE, PA (August 10, 2022) – The month of August has seen some big payouts at Latrobe Speedway. Some big money race will continue up until our final points night.
This Saturday, August 13, is the Ralph Davis Jr. Memorial for the K2 Engineering Crate Late Models paying $2000 to the winner. The Stone & Co. Modified 4 Cylinders will race for a $1200 paycheck.
 
On Saturday, August 20, the Big Block Modifieds are coming to town with their ground pounding machines to test the big half mile. The winner will get $2000 for their efforts. The Joe’s Body Shop Pure Stocks have a $1500 winners check to fight for. Here is the purse for the Big Block Modifieds;
2000, 1000, 850, 750. 650. 550. 450, 400, 360, 330, 320. 310, 300, 290, 280, 260, 240, 230, 225 for 19th to 24th. There will be $125 tow money if more than 24.
 
Latrobe Speedway will round out the month of August with a 410 Sprint Special that will now pay $3500 thanks to Latrobe Glass & Mirror. Joining them with a increased pay is the Special T Metals Pro Stocks. Their winner’s check is going to be $1500.
 
The 410 Sprint Purse looks like this:
3500, 1400, 1000, 800, 700, 600. 525, 475, 450, 425, 400, 400, 375, 375, 350, 350, 325, 325, 325, 300, 300, 250, 250, 250. Tow money is 175 if more than 24.
 
September will see specials for the Strictly Stock 4 Cylinders, 305 Sprints, 410 Sprints and Big Block Modifieds before points end on September 24. The 2nd Annual Fall Fest takes place on October 7 & 8. Divisions taking part will be 410 Sprints, 305 Sprints, Wingless Sprints, Micro Sprints, Vintage Modifieds and Strictly Stock 4 Cylinders on Friday. Saturday will feature Super Late Models, Big Block Modifieds, Rick Frazee Memorial for Crate Late Models, Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Pure Stocks and Modifieds 4 Cylinder Nationals.
