LATROBE, PA (July 5, 2023)  <\/strong>Saturday, July 8, Latrobe Speedway is again proud to host the 2nd Annual Charlie Field Sr. Memorial, with the Joe’s Auto Body & Towing Pure Stocks being the feature class.<\/span><\/p>\n

Charlie Field Sr. ran the No. 24 in the Modifieds and Street Stocks at Thunder Valley Raceway. His sons Charlie Jr. and Mark raced at Thunder Valley as well, and Charlie Sr. was the grandfather of Michael Ott.   <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the regular Pure Stock payout, the Top-12 Pure Stock finishers will receive an additional $100. The Hard Charger will receive $100, and each heat race winner will receive $35. The Hard Luck Award will go to the first driver forced out of the 15-lap feature. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Field and Ott families, Stoystown Auto Wreckers, Ridge Recycling, MS Shock Therapy, Fama Construction, and the Tap the Keg Bar and Grill present the Charlie Field Sr. Memorial.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program will also include the Fireworks display originally scheduled for July 1, courtesy of Wisneski’s Waste Removal after the night’s racing has concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides the Joe’s Auto Body and Towing Pure Stocks, other Fast Five divisions include the K2 Engineering Crate Late Models, the Bower Farms Racesaver 305 Sprints, the Speciality Metals Modified 4 Cylinders, and the Marilungo Disposal LLC Strictly Stock 4 Cylinders.<\/span><\/p>\n

General Admission prices for FAST-FIVE racing are; Adults: $15, Seniors:<\/span><\/p>\n

 $12, Military: $12, Kids 7-11: $10, and Kids 6 and under are always free.<\/span><\/p>\n

PIT Gate prices; Adults:$35, and Youth: $20.<\/span><\/p>\n

PIT Gates open at 4 p.m., the Grandstands at 5 p.m., and FAST-FIVE Racing at 7.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Latrobe Speedway Kidz Klub will tour the Pits on Saturday before hot laps. Go to www.latrobemotorsports.com<\/a> and click the Kidz Klub tab for the registration form if your child still needs to be signed up. <\/span><\/p>\n
