Many of you may know 19 year old Ryan Frazee who runs in our crate late model division here at Latrobe Speedway. His dad was Rick Frazee, who passed away in March of 2021 from leukemia. He fought his fight for almost 2 years, while running his trucking company, RW Frazee Trucking LLC and racing with his family every weekend.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To Rick Frazee, family, trucking and racing were his life. He never met a stranger, and loved going racing with his family as it was \u201call about family\u201d to him. He had so much fun at the track and made so many memories as a family at all the race tracks through the years. They have gone racing for the last 25+ years as a family.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ryan has been racing since he was 11 years old. He started in a charger car, moved to a street stock for a very short time, and then moved up to crate late models where he is now and has enjoyed racing at Latrobe for the last 3 years now! The Frazee family said they are thankful for not only the benefit race the track and promoters put on for Rick back in 2020, but now are honored to be a part of a memorial race there to remember him as he loved that track & watching Ryan there! The benefit race in 2020 Latrobe put on was the last race Rick was ever able to attend before passing.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Rick passed away from leukemia in March of 2021. He fought for almost 2 years and never gave up. He always said he was fighting hard for his family and they were his reason \u201cwhy\u201d. He was such a proud dad and husband.<\/div>\n

He was a successful business owner of RW Frazee Trucking & now his wife Jamie continues to run the trucking company in his honor. Rick used to drive Ryan to the race track in their 18-wheeler, and help on the car. Now Ryan does the driving, a lot of the work on the car, and still works for the trucking company long days to keep it going in his dads honor.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ryan originally was the 11F, as his car #. But this past year has changed his car # to 17, in honor of his Dad, that was his truck # and the decals\/design of the car is in tribute of his dad. They now proudly run the #17 in honor of him.<\/div>\n

In honor of Rick, This memorial race will be for the crate late model division and as of now the purse is already at \"\u203c\ufe0f\"<\/span> \"\ud83d\udcb2\"<\/span>4,250 \"\u203c\ufe0f\"<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2013 with some increased purses throughout the field in certain finishing positions, plus $100 for fast time, hard charger, & More to come!<\/div>\n
(These details may be subject to change as things come together)<\/div>\n
There will be qualifying, and laps are subject to change – but we are looking at a 40 lap feature with such an increased purse!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There will also be Chinese auction baskets, bike raffle for the kids, and more!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udea8\"<\/span> If you are wanting to donate to the purse or a certain finishing position throughout the field, heat race winners etc, please message Jenna Frazee on here as She is collecting all of the purse $$$ and will make sure it gets to the right people! We would love to make this as high of a paying event as possible!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
