Troy Shields joins the list of repeat winners in the FASTRAK Crate Late Models.

Under Sunny Skies, Latrobe Speedway got its ninth night of racing action in.  Winning the night features was Troy Shields in the FASTRAK Late Models, Cody Quarrick won the E mod, Ray Hickok Jr in the Pro Stocks and Anthony Monteparte won the Pure Stock feature. 

Russell Baird Jr. and Troy Shields brought the FASTRAK Late Models out for there feature event.  Jumping out to the early lead was Shields with Baird and Andrew Koenig and in tow.  Caution would waive on lap 4 when Chuck Recker would loose his driveshaft.  Once back under green, Koenig would pass Russell would move into second place and try to catch Shields.  Shields, who won features and championships throughout the years and is our current point leader.  Koenig would finish a career best second in the crate division.  Shields would go on and lead the rest of the race in the S&S Communications, Mill Street Motors Rocket Chassis racecar.  Koenig would finish second, Baird was third, Tanner Hauger was fourth and Marino Angelichio was fifth.  Rounding out the field was Rich Logan in sixth, seventh was Rob King, Nico Debecco was eighth, and ninth was Chuck Recker.  Baird won the heat races. 

 Evan Taylor and Greg Hauger would lead the E mod field on the track. Taylor, would jump out to the early lead with Cody Quarick and Nolan Dalton in tow.  On lap number four, Taylor and Dalton would get together and spin off turn two.  Both would go to the pits with flat tires.  Quarrick would move into the lead and go on win earn a feature win.  Quarrick, driving the Bruce Hamilton Race Car, DBRE, American Racers race car.  Dalton would race his way back up to second with Taylor third. Hauger would finish fourth and Bruce Drisdat fifth.  Joe Pluta was sixth and Bill Pluta was a DNS.Dalton would win the heat race.

Martin Spade Jr and Ray Hickok Jr. brought the Pro Stock feature onto the track. Jumping out to an early lead was Hickok Jr. with Spade and Dembowski in tow.  Hickok, would go on and lead the entire race with Spade in tow and pick up his third win of the season.    Hickok, who was leading his heat race, when the right rear tire came off  would be able to make repairs to the car.  Hickok Jr. was driving the Iron Horse Salvage, ServiceMaster Ford.  Spade would finish second, Dembowski was third and Brett Hutira was fourth.  Drew Kotelas was a DNS and Spade would win the heat race. 

Zach Stehle and Brandon Doland brought the Charger feature on to the track  At the drop of the green, Stehle and Anthony Monteparte would jumped out to the lead. On lap number two, Monteparte would move into the lead.  One of the fastest cars on the track was seventh place starter EJ Rozak who moved into third on lap number two.  On lap five, Stehle would get loose and collect Doland and Rozak.  All three cars where not able to continue.  John Hollis would move into second and put pressure on Monteparte, but Monteparte was up to the challenge and go on for his third win.  Monteparte, driving the Rick Dean owned,   Gilmore Engineering, Tools Kitchen Chevrolet.  Hollis would finish second, Shawn McGinnus was third, Stehle was fourth, Doland was fifth, Rozak was sixed, Dakota Hixson was seventh and Ron Ramsey was eighted.  Jeremy Zufall was a DNS and Rozak won the heat
